Graduated MSc Human‑Technology Interaction-engineer and Senior Data‑/BI‑Advisor at the Dutch Employee Insurance Agency (UWV), I specialize in creating intuitive, data‑driven solutions with organizational and societal impact. From stakeholder research and conceptual design to prototyping and technical implementation, including designing ETL pipelines, setting up backend infrastructures and developing frontend solutions, I take ownership in what I do up until final release.   • Senior BI Advisor & Product Designer, UWV SMZ – Amsterdam, Netherlands (Jul 2025 – Present) Leading development of business intelligence data products within the Division of Social‑Medical Affairs. Responsible for ETL pipelines (SQL, SSIS/SSAS, Oracle), integrating external data sources, and advanced DAX modeling. Designed Power BI dashboards tailored to government services in accordance with Dutch social security legislation.
  • Data Analyst & BI Specialist, UWV SMZ – Amsterdam, Netherlands (Aug 2024 – Jul 2025) Built and optimized data pipelines and analytics dashboards. Transformed business requirements into data models and managed integration between multiple agency data sources and internal BI tools for a range of stakeholders.
  • Data/BI Specialist, SerenIT – Amsterdam, Netherlands (Jan 2024 – Aug 2024) Delivered custom dashboards and reporting tools to public and private clients. Led stakeholder workshops, defined KPIs, built DAX measures and SQL‑based backend queries for data‑driven insights.
  • Master Thesis Project – TU/e Security Office – Eindhoven, Netherlands (Dec 2022 – Oct 2023) Designed and implemented a student dashboard to support self‑regulated learning. Conducted user research, defined requirements with university security officers, iterated wireframes, and implemented the tool using Power BI and UX methodologies.

Lost In Translation™

What began as a fun way to practice Swedish while living in Stockholm turned into a design project powered by AI. I built a custom algorithm and a cast of quirky AI travel-assistants, each with their own sass and personality, to generate metro maps with absurdly literal, customizable and perfectly imperfect translations. Soon, anyone can create a personalized, hilariously inaccurate transit map, crafted by my highly incapable bots. Global Transit, Local Nonsense. Just mind the (language) gap while we're at it.

TU/e Learning Dashboard

I laid the groundwork for a new learning dashboard that visualizes academic performance and provides dynamic recommendations on how students can improve their learning for TU/e's Canvas-platform. Mapped user journeys, set-up ETL processes, and developed an intuitive data visualization tool that empowers students to track their academic progress in real time.

Doula | UX/UI Case Study

For a 10-hour time limited UX/UI Case Study, I was given the opportunity to redesign an outdated pregnancy symptom and contraction tracker app. My process involved in-depth user and usability research to identify and address key pain points within the existing app. The result? A transformation of the app's visual style and a substantial enhancement of the user experience.

This webtool allows students to watch and annotate YouTube videos and search for keywords in the video's transcript to find relevant parts in the video. Notes can be saved to specific timestamps in the video and notebooks can be saved to personal user accounts.

That’s why my project-team and I created Rodebjer’s Digital Shopping Assistant — a seamless in-store UX that puts control back in the hands of the customer.

The Honeymoon Webshop

One of my favorite personal projects is creating "The Honeymoon Webshop" for newlyweds. I built a custom website that lets wedding guests buy and customize honeymoon gifts like activities and hotel stays. Releasing a first version for my own sister's wedding, all the thoughtful presents and messages purchased on the website were beautifully displayed on a bulletin-style collage frame.
